An urn for my parents

Starting a new wood pattern for a project that is near and dear to my heart. Fortunately  my parents are strong and healthy. I'm going to make a cast bronze urn that will nest two vessels together. My intention is to decorate the surface with a tree. I'm using the Hoop and Tree iconography and may incorporate a forged bronze hoop to lock the halves together.

This is the roughed out pattern. I will be refining it, sealing it painting and then creating the surface design in wax. I'll post weekly to show you my progress.
